My newest fun activity is what we call SuperCappy. Check out this picture (click it to see me much bigger.)I can fly!
Here is how we play: First, one of the family uses a paper towel to dry their hands (this is the best thing to use) and balls up a paper towel. I will then jump up on the chair (OK, I'll admit it, I actually come on command, will jump up on the chair on command, yada, yada, yada... ) Back to the game. Someone will throw the balled up towel down the hall and I JUST HAVE TO go after it. I run from the chair, up the back of the couch, and then (see picture) jump from the couch to the carpet in the living room. The danger in all this is that 1. the chair and couch are made of leather and are really slippery for a clumsy kitty, and 2. if I were to fall off the couch or not reach the carpet, the floor is wood. That would probably be a bad day if I hit it hard. I'll keep you posted if that happens.
So, another really fun thing to do around here is to

just check out what is happening outside. Our backyard is really cool. We have no back yard neighbors - well other than the golf course, and the birds, pigs, coyotes, lizards, squirrels, and OTHER CATS?! in MY back yard. Now, I will say this - if any of those cats ever decides to get in my house... well, lets just say it won't be pretty. Here is a picture of me checking out a hummingbird. I have admiration for those little guys. They move in all directions faster than I can. I wonder if I could get a pair of wings that work like that?
Windowsills are great - especially in the mornings. The sun is warm and they are just the right size for me to walk along on patrol. The downside? I can't yet jump up there on my own. I have to have a chair moved over so I can jump, or suffer the indignity of being put up by hand. Please don't let my sisters or brother know this - I couldn't stand the teasing. (This pic is also clickable.)
So, the last topic is my food. Apparently, mom feels I need to put on some pounds. Now I get a can of some amazing soft food as my nightly meal. There has been beef, chicken and veal so far. They all smell the same -- like tuna! Well, how about some real tuna instead? I must say that this stuff is great and I certainly do chow it down. I think it is working - I'm a bit more dense these days ( and I don't mean in the head folks!)
